50% more Indians now go online to find dates: Google

NEW DELHI: When it comes to using online search tools, 50% more Indians are now using the Internet to find prospective dating partners, Google has revealed in its 'Year in Search' report. "Searches and app downloads for dating were hand in glove in 2016. Dating related searches grew by 50%, along with a 53% increase in downloads for dating apps ," the report noted.                    Valentine’s Day is around the corner and everyone is feeling love in the air. It said that online Indians were interested not just in dating but also took to the medium to plan their weddings .
